Marin Karting & AMD Renew Northern California Rotax Series Agreement
Novato, CA - Marin Karting announced today AMD (NYSE: AMD)
will sponsor the Northern California Rotax Series for the second consecutive
year. The series will be known as the AMD/Marin Karting Northern California
Rotax Series.
In the agreement, AMD will again deliver technology in support of Rotax
Junior, Senior and Masters class, as well as the Rotax two speed DD2 class
(new for 2007).
As part of the sponsorship, each class winner will receive an Acer Ferrari
1000 notebook powered by AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 dual-core mobile technology.
Coated in carbon fiber and sporting the Prancing Horse logo while featuring
AMD64 technology, the notebook from Acer is a sophisticated mix of style and
practicality.

Competitors must apply for their 2007 Rotax License and choose a "Home
Series" in which to run to qualify to the Grand Nationals that will be held
at The Track at Centennial in Denver, CO in August. Applications are now
