Record turnout for AMD/Marin Karting Norcal Series

AMD/Marin Karting is proud to announce a record turnout of 46 Rotax racers last weekend at Infineon Raceway in Northern California. This represents about a 50% increase from last year. With the addition of the DD2 (12 entries), the series is growing in leaps and bounds.

This is a record breaking year for Rotax and the excitement has been contagious! Northern California has a history of producing winners in this series and the competition is fierce with many drivers looking to go to the Nationals.

With local, national and world championships offered through the Rotax program it is no wonder it continues to grow. The Rotax program is easy to understand, the engine is easy to maintain and affordable. The sealed engines create an equal playing field that is attracting new karters to the sport. It is also used as a stepping ladder for the Champ Car Series.

This year Rotax has forgone the Grand Regionals and each local series will be allocated a set number of drivers in each class that can qualify to the
Grand Nationals.

Significant prize packages are up for grabs:
AMD is giving away a Ferrari laptop computer to each class winner.
Pacifica Pizza certificates for free pizza.
J&D’s smack Shack with free lunch coupons.
Streeter Super Stands
Woodlands Pet Market with free dog wash coupons.
Deanza Services
Marin Karting with gift certificates to the shop.
