2008 Grand National Announcement - target date set

The 2008 Champ Car Rotax Grand National is tentatively set for September 16th - 20th. Several locations are still under consideration and the venue will be confirmed following the 2008 Grand Finals currently taking place in Al Ain, UAE. We realize this date is later than originally planned, but due to a full national racing calendar from early summer to Labor Day we made the decision to not conflict with a date that would required Rotax racers and Rotax dealers who support our program to make a choice that would put them in a compromising position. The downside with this date is it conflicts with school calendars, but under the circumstances we had little choice.
