USA International Raceway to Host 2008 Rotax Grand Nationals

The Champ Car Rotax Kart Challenge announced that the USA International Raceway (USAIR), located in Shawano, Wisconsin, will host the 2008 Champ Car Rotax Kart Challenge Grand Nationals, scheduled for September 9-13, 2008.

The USAIR facility began hosting karting events in 2005, bringing in national events every year since - including Stars of Karting, WKA Manufacturer’s Cup Series and other regional programs. The raceway itself was designed by Kenny Venberg with the highest level of competition in mind, featuring a length of over a mile long, 30ft width, and gentle and dramatic elevation changes that follow the natural contour of the land. USAIR features five concession tracks, bumper boats, miniature golf, a swimming pool, and a video arcade. The city of Shawano is located 35 miles west of Green Bay on old Highway 29.
