Full Schedule Announced - Nationals Qualifying Info

Marin Karitng announces the full Norcal Rotax Challenge Series schedule for 2008. 7 Races will be the 7 races of the Jim Russell Series at Infineon and 3 will be run at Dixon as part of a Dixon club race. Prize packages for this series are still being worked on.

The Norcal Rotax Championship will be the best 8 of 10 races.

4 races will be RMax Challenge races which allow drivers to qualifiy to go to the Rotax Nationals. The criteria for going to the nationals in 2008 is as follows: A driver must run at least 3 RMax Challenge races within their home region. Marin Karting will then submit the list of drivers who ran at least 3 of the 4 RMax Challenge races listed above. Any driver who ran at least three of the qualifier races will then be able to enter the Rotax Nationals. There will be no points system for qualifying for the Nationals as was the case in 2007. The 2008 process is truely simple: enter 3 of the RMax Challenge races and submit your Rotax Nationals entry on August 12, and you're on your way to Wisconsin.
