Rotax Grand Finals Chassis Manufacturers Announced

BRP-Rotax recently announced the supporting chassis manufacturers for the 2008 Rotax Grand Finals, set for the La Conca facility in Muro Leccese, Italy on November 27-30. CRG, Maranello, and Intrepid will be the three manufacturers for the three divisions, DD2, Senior, and Junior, respectively.

The chassis partners play a very important role as their products, professionalism, and experience and knowledge of their employees that support the event are a critical part of the spirit of the Rotax Grand Finals - “fair racing on an even playfield.” Intrepid and CRG have been long term partners with BRP and the Rotax Grand Finals while Maranello will make its debut at the ‘Olympics of Karting’.

Intrepid will mark its third straight year with the Grand Finals, supporting the Senior category in 2006 with both Senior and Junior divisions on Intrepid in 2007. CRG will support DD2 for the second straight year.

Americans and Canadians will have a chance to earn their spot to compete at the Grand Finals, with the United States Rotax Grand Nationals set for the USA International Raceway in Shawano, WI September 10-13 while the pilots from up north will battle at the Canadian National Championships August 8-10 at the Karting Grand-Mere circuit in Quebec.
