Conditions help tear apart record book
During the first race of the Jim Russell Northern California Rotax Challenge, several track lap records were broken in a variety of classes.
A strong draft and a crisp air helped set lap records in every class except Senior. A testament to the increased competition in this series, the records continually drop to the next hot-shoe.
With this terrific start to the 2009 season, anticipation builds to witness this fantastic field battle it out again on May 2nd at the Jim Russell International Karting Center at Infineon Raceway. Entry is free for spectators.
