Patrick Stevenson the Rotax Program Director says β€œThe purpose of this portion of the event is to give the racers, their support team, and their families an opportunity to get out of the track and have some fun before the intensity of the Grand National begins. This has never been done before at a Rotax Grand National and with a successful run this year it could become a permanent addition to future races. I look forward to finally seeing the teams of people that support our drivers getting a chance to let loose on the track behind the wheel of kart.”
