National Points finalists abound in NorCal Rotax Challenge

The USRMC National Point Championship has been announced and NorCal racers are littered throughout the top ten in multiple classes.

Troy Castaneda has won the US Rotax National Points championship, while Kyle Gimple and David Arnstein tie for second. January Grove pulls in forth and David Moody takes the seventh spot earning NorCal drivers 5 of the top 10 DD2 drivers in the country!

So it follows that Arnstein becomes the DD2 Masters National Points champion with Grove as vice-champion and Moody sixth.

This is the second consecutive year that the NorCal Rotax Challenge has taken the DD2 National Points championship, Glen Poy-Wing earning that honor last year. This year's National Points results compliment Castaneda's NorCal championship, second place at the US Rotax Grand Nationals, and fifth place at the Rotax World Finals. Similarly, Grove's accomplishments in the National Points follow her US Rotax Grand Nationals DD2 Masters victory.

In the Senior category, Gregory Liefooghe finished 3rd in the country in 2009 after taking the National Points championship in dominant fashion in 2008.

Congratulations to all of the NorCal Rotax racers on a successful 2009 season.
